Terms of Service

By accessing or using Rich Pixel, including making any purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all related policies.

1. Service Description

Rich Pixel is a public digital canvas service where users may purchase limited pixel display rights and create visual content within the Rich Pixel platform.

2. Purchases

Purchases are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Successfully purchased pixels become reserved for the purchasing user.

3. Nature of Purchase

Purchasing pixels grants a limited right to display and modify visual content within the Rich Pixel service only. No ownership, intellectual property rights, transferable property rights, or exclusive rights outside the Rich Pixel platform are conveyed.

4. Modification Rights

Only the purchasing user, authenticated through the designated edit mechanism, may modify the colors of their purchased pixels.

5. Edit Key Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for securely retaining their edit key. Lost, forgotten, or inaccessible edit keys may not be recoverable, and Rich Pixel is not obligated to restore editing access.

6. Permanence of Purchases

Purchased pixels cannot be deleted, released, transferred, resold, or voluntarily removed by the purchasing user. Only color modifications are permitted, subject to these terms.

7. Prohibited Content

Users may not create, display, or attempt to display content including:

  • Illegal content
  • Fraudulent or deceptive content
  • Malware, phishing, or malicious promotion
  • Harassment, abusive, or hateful content
  • Adult or sexually explicit content
  • Copyright-infringing content
  • Trademark-infringing content
  • Impersonation or unauthorized representation of another person, brand, organization, or public figure
  • Content containing personal information without consent
  • Content promoting violence or criminal activity
  • Content primarily intended to harass, obscure, imitate, interfere with, damage, or disrupt another user's purchased display area

8. URLs and QR Codes

Users may visually depict URLs, QR codes, text, and symbols within their purchased pixels. However, Rich Pixel does not provide clickable link functionality, and all displayed content remains subject to these terms.

9. Content Removal

Rich Pixel reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove, modify, restrict, disable, or otherwise take action against content that violates these terms, applicable law, platform rules, or internal moderation policies, without refund.

10. Abuse Reporting

If you believe content displayed on Rich Pixel violates these terms or applicable law, you may report it through our designated contact or abuse reporting channel.

11. Refund Policy

All purchases are final. Refunds will not be provided except where required by applicable law or in cases of duplicate billing caused by technical error.

12. Availability

Rich Pixel does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent uptime, or continuous service operation. We are not liable for outages, maintenance, technical failures, interruptions, or accessibility issues.

13. Service Changes

Rich Pixel may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, with or without prior notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rich Pixel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, business, or economic damages arising from use of the service.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.

16. Acceptance of Terms

Continued use of the service and any completed purchase constitutes acceptance of these terms.
